i get the problem yellow-! beside "internet connection sharing" under network adapters in device manager... i dont think i'll be sharing my net connecion, btu im having other problems that are possibly related and in any case a yellow-! is always bad 🙂
in the properties for it it gives the message:
"the NDIS.VXD device loader(s) for this device could not load the device driver. (code2). to fix this click update driver to update the device driver"
tried updating driver, it says the best driver is already installed, and continuing it installs a driver and after restart the situation is the same...
sys specs:
mobo: GA-7VTHX (a VIA KT266a, most recent 4in1's installed)
modem: ELSA Fun USB 56k
OS: W98se (with the usb filter driver thingy)
DUN: reinstalled to v1.4
rest of spec is in the 'my rig' link in sig 🙂
the other problem im having is sometimes my modem just wont transmit/receive data sometimes, and when this happens RNAAPP (part of DUN) crashes usually, maybe EM_EXEC and LOADQM also (WTF are they?)
any ideas? much appreciated 🙂
