So far i'm liking Windows 8, but i can't seem to install .NET framework 3.5.

It says 'Installing' for about 5 minutes then i get an error code saying: The installer could't install, please restart your computer and try again.

I've tried the following:
1. Download full offline installer from MS
2. Install via dsim from the W8 install media via command prompt (gets to 100% then fails)
3. Install via add/remove windows features.
4. Run sfc /scannow (found a corrupted system file and fixed it, but i still can't install .net 3.5)

Any ideas, maybe i've got to do a clean install again. Bit of a bummer seeing as i've already activated all my software on it. Hopefully someone can come up with some magic :)

Thanks

Yea i'd already had a look at that.

Anyhow i had i restored from an image and all is well. I must have had a corrupt system file somewher that sfc /scannow didn't pick up.

Thanks for the replies.
