What the forum's opinion on the Nessus vulnerability scanner?

Has anyone use the free version and how did it work?

I'm hoping to get some feed back on it before I spend a lot of time setting it up.

I have used it in the past, and really liked it. I am planning on implementing it again at my new company in the near future.
 
I have used it often in the past, it's pretty decent for most stuff. I haven't used it much since they went the paid/free route last year or the year before though.
