NES emulators and Radeon 8500???

I have a Radeon 8500LE and I can't play NES emulated games, the display shows the game 4 times in a sort of interlaced image. All 4 images overlap each other making it very difficult to see what objects are interacting with each other. I know that my friend also has this problem with his Radeon 8500. Does anyone else have this problem and if not, what emulator are you using?

I don't have a Radeon myself, but any response is better than no response. My suggestion would be to try all the different emulators out there. Hopefully one will work for you.

It might have to do with the resolution the game is trying to run at and the implementation of VESA modes in the card's BIOS. I'll see if I can get NESticle running on my 8500 system and see what happens.
