Hi,
i am using NeroBurn 5.0.3.5
it won't let me burn more than 700MB, I have a 700MB Maxell disc, and i want to burn 704MB.

what is the problem?
is it this software just won't allow overburn.

what software should i use?

Try poking around in the tools or menus... there is a way to disable the overburn protection. It should caution you that you "could" do dammage to your drive though.

yes, i just found that too.
i disabled it and when i burn it, it said it will even damage the drive.
but i did it anyways, but it said Disk at once was not support, couldn't write at 8x, then i tried 4x, but no luck.

please tell me when u burn a ex. 702MB data onto a 700MB disc,

will u able to do so with NeroBurn? v.5.0.3.5

mine is a Panasonic CW-7586-B, so far i don't have any problem with this drive.
Just curious if this drive supports overburn.

I heard some say it do support.

I've burned 702 on a 700 with Nero. Watch out for the 99 minute disks. So far they may only be compatible with Plextor and maybe one other burner. Maybe not readable in all drives either.

If it doesn't support Disc-at-once you can't overburn. Check out your drives spec's, maybe look for a firmware update.
