Nero won't burn mp3's!

I was trying to burn some mp3's (Ween) and when I dragged them over to the copy window an error message popped up saying that Nero only copies cd quality mp3's or something like that.
The songs sounded good and when I checked the mp3's properties the bitrates looked ok although I forget the exact numbers.😱
This is the second time it's happened to me and I'd really like to be able to burn these. Anybody else run in to this?

What is the bitrate of the MP3's your trying to burn?

Got this from the help file.

<< MP3 files from the Internet may be sometimes damaged. These problems might cause crackling noises. If such damaged MP3 files are dragged into a Nero audio compilation, Nero will then display a warning. There will be another warning in the Nero's log file telling, that Nero lost synchronisation within the MP3 file. There might also be MP3 files (extension .mp3) that cannot be decoded by Nero at all. Such files are probably either severely damaged or contain another audio file format like MPEG 2.0 or any other unsupported sound format. Nero's MPEG3 library currently supports only standard MP3 files (that means ISO MPEG 1.0 layer 3, 44.1 kHz, 16 bit, stereo). >>

I find if I get any errors in nero that I think are unfounded, I'll just extract the mp3 to a wav file and throw it onto the cd like that. Sucks, but at least I can use it.

Thanks for the responses!😀

22050 Hz, Stereo
128 kBit/s

I'm pretty sure there is nothing wrong with these mp3's.

"22050 Hz, Stereo" That's your problem right there, the MP3 file must be 44100 HZ Stereo for the program to decode it properly. You'll have to use LAME or another program to decode the MP3 file to a WAV file then burn it that way.
