I have a TDK 52X CDRW drive.
Over the past few days, I've been backing up files on Fuji 700 meg CD-Rs. On the packaging, it says the disks are compatible up to 24x. But Nero defaults to 40x on these disks, and judging by the write speed so does XP's built in writing utility. I didn't even realize it until I'd burned about 15 disks of data.
I've checked all the disks, and am able to read data perfectly off everyone one. But now I'm worried.
Do I need to re-backup everything on fresh disks at 24x?
