Nero Vision 7 creating jumpy DVD's

I am taking a bunch of MPEG's that I have on my computer and using Nero Vision to burn them to DVD with a menu but the resulting video the DVD is jumpy. An older version of NV didn't have a problem and only showed up when I added newer updates. Any ideas?
