Nero CD Speed.

I used the scandisk within the Nero Cd Speed

and there are 3 types of data
1. good
2. damaged
3. unreadable

i mean what is the difference betweent the good and damaged? does that mean the data can't be viewed, or is it still good..

doesnt seem all to clear..

thanks in advanced.

I would second sean2002's statement ... Good means good, Damaged means that stuff is messed up , but is still correctable and Unreadable means its just FUBAR .... U can try accessing the unreadable stuff in DOS, but other then that, its pretty much toast .. Try using Easy Recovery proggie for that ...
Hope this helped ... Good Luck

BTW, if your getting unreadable data it's time to use a higher quality CDR disc, ie Taiyo Yuden, Ritek, Kodak, Verbatim or Mitsui just to name a few.

Ritek is a high quality CDR manufacturer????
