Nero question: is there a way to disable "Continue burning" dialog box?

quick question: is there a way to make that pop up window never come up when burning a CD? it always asks me when i burn an audio CD whether i want to continue. of course i want to continue!

also, when i use certain media it does not allow me to burn at faster speeds. is there a way to override nero and burn at the max speed with any media?

It asks for media, you insert a blank disc, it recognizes it, then pops open a window asking if you want to continue...DUH, I just gave the the disc you asked for you idiot! And it stays open for 60 seconds before it continues, unless you say "yes". Ugh.

I too get that window and the behavior is just as perplexing and seeming useless as you describe. I have to think there's a reason, but maybe there isn't. It almost looks like a bug. In fact, it does look like a bug. Why on earth would the program ask you if you wanted to continue burning? It gives you no reason, no alert, it's just plain stupid and crazy. It's been a while that it's been doing that and a few revs have come out but the behavior persists. I have to think that the developers are aware of this issue, but have ignored it for reasons we cannot imagine. Or, I could be wrong there. Or, maybe there's a solution or a workaround. Has anybody done a search on it? Maybe a groups.google.com search on alt.comp.periphs.cdr.

 
I started a thread in alt.comp.periphs.cdr some time ago. The subject is: Re: Nero asks "Continue Burning?" Here's the link I'm not sure if any of these suggestions work. I don't want to eliminate the use of an image file since I don't want to do copy on the fly, my thinking being that it's not apt to be as reliable.
 
I don't receive that prompt but whenever I burn a full disc it asked if I want to finalize it and continue even though I have already selected the option in burn properties along with DAO. The splash screen is annoying too. Anyone know how to fix these shortcomings?
