I am trying to run Nero 5.5 (5.5.03 to 5.5.24) I am logged in as an administrator. I setup Nero to allow burn rights to users (lowest setting) as well as administrators, I have done multiple uninstall-reinstalls to change the options.
When I try to launch Nero as admin, I get to the splash screen, then nothing, I have left it for an hour just to see. If I log in as a power user, Nero will load but I get the message about not having rights to burn even though I have granted burn rights to plain users.
I have even gone through the registry after unistall and deleted all refereces to nero, except for nerosvc - I can't delete those keys - even in safe mode after unintstalling the software - can't modify the keys either.
Anyone have any idea what I can do to get this to work
