nero not recogizing my dvd burner???!

Is there any firmware updates for your Plexor drive? Check the Plexor website for details. I had the same issue with my 708 and the firmware update did the trick.

did this come with your Plextor? OEM versions often are tied to specific models.

You can:
(a) go to nero.com and see if they have a patch
(b) if not, pay them ($20?) to upgrade from your OEM version to the full version that supports all burners.
 
most plextor drives are bundled with Roxio 6, just use that

you will need Nero 6 to burn DVDs also
