Updating to the latest version, 6.3.0.3 fixed it. I've no idea why, but it fixed it. Thanks for the advice, viper.

The reason I think this is HARDWARE-RELATED is that I HAD a dying DVD-Rom that was giving me probs...and info tool was crashing, I replaced it with a brand new DVD-RW and it still crashes.
Nero 6 Ultra (no updates yet...DLing now).
InfoTool opens, detects the drives, but when it gets to getting the detailed info, it crashes and closes. I checked Event Viewer and all it says is "generated an error." Really? Well no sh1t.
Any ideas?
I had Nero 5 full, patched to the max and it did it with that too. Now, this is a fresh install of the OS and Nero 6.
Two optical drives, both LiteOn. 851 DVD burner, 48x CDRW. Both set as master, each alone on separate IDE channels. (all HDs on controller cards)
MODS: If you feel this is software, please move. Thanks.
