I have a verbatim cd-rw that comes with a version of nero that seems to only support verbatim and I just got a memorex dvd+rw that has a nero version for memorex. The memorex version seems to require me to uninstall the older, verbatim version, then it wont burn to the verbatim...any way to get them both installed???

thanks for any help.

The individual oem Neros will only work with the drive they came with. I am assuming they are nero express which can be downloaded at the Ahead Site and it should support both drives.

thanks for the reply....my question, however, is whether the 2 versions can be made to work together (the two installations co-existing, and i'd run ver1 for drive 1 and ver2 for drive 2). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see why I should have to download a demo or purchase the full nero version having already "paid" for 2 OEM versions with my drive purchases...has anyone had success getting 2 oem versions to work at the same time without spending extra money?

thanks.

Nero has the oem versions cranked down so tight, that they won't work with the same brand drive that's a different speed.

To me, they should have it that if the program sees the drive it came with, then it should also work with any other drive in the system.

I have had 2 instances of Nero with 2 burners on the same machine and had no problem. Win 2kpro
