Nero demo, my trial has expired?

I have just downloaded/installed the Nero 5.0 demo version. This is the first time it has been installed on this new machine I just built. However, when I try to login, it says "your time has expired". I am not imputting anything into the "serial #" field. Am I supposed to put something in that field to activate the program for the 30 day trial use? This is weird, when I installed this to my bro's comp everything worked peachy.

There are a few v5.0s, first they limited number of burns you could make then had like a time limit then they didn't limit it. Go dl the "new" 5.0 and it should work. Look in their faq I think, one of them pertains to this I think.

Do you know what the differences are between versions 4 and 5?

Ok I screwed up. I have version 4.0 from download.com . Still cannot get it to work. I guess I will try another proggy. This sucks, I did not have any problems last time I tried it.

I don't even wanna updated to 5.0 because i don't want to lose the one i have that has the crack installed in it🙂 (crack=fake serial number😛)

It seems there is a later upgrade from 5.0.0.3 to 5.0.0.9. Do a search on the general forum 'Nero'.

Of course if your demo time limit expires you can always reinstall your O/S.

There is clearly something wrong with the program. You should contact the content provider because there could be one of many causes.
