Nero-created VCDs on a PS2?

Hi all,

I've just created a VCD with Nero using some test MPGs, popped it in my PS2 and the damned thing won't play it- does anyone know if the PS2 needs chipping like the PS1, or if this is something I can change in Nero before burning to get it to work? It's not strictly necessary to play it on the PS2, a DVD player should play it fine, but I haven't got a standalone DVD player and I'd like to test it on a "real "player so I can then distribute it.

Any ideas?

AFAIK the PS2 doesn't play VCDs.

The PS2 only plays DVDs. It will not play VCD
