Nero - CD-RW problems

Hey yall I'm having problems burning CD's on my new burner. I have the BUSlink 52x24x52. I have the Nero 5.5.10.7. When I look under the burn tab I don't have the BURN-Proof check mark option. And when I burn it stops part way because of a "Buffer Underrun" I tried it again today and NOW I get this "Invaide file command" error. If anyone can help me with this I would be very happy. Thanks.

I looked under the toolkit in Nero and found that the Buffer Underrun Protection IS checked. I can't uncheck it so it must be working fine then. Doesn't make sense to me.
 
Alright, I figured it out. I unchecked the "smilulation" option. And I also decreased the burn speed from 52X to 40X cause it seems my CD-R's can only handle up to 40x. Now everything works. Thanks bacillus for your help.
