Nero Burning Rom (DVD Selection)

Hi, I just borrowed a couple dvds from my friend of our junior varsity football game, so I can get a copy for my self.

So I had copy all of the files onto my computer and installed Nero Burning Rom, but when I open it up, it doesn't let me select dvd.

I have a Lite-On DVD-RW and its my only drive. Any way I can solve this problem?
 
It's not letting you select DVD because the version you're running doesn't support your particular Lite-on DVD burner. What version of Nero do you have?

You might also try DeepBurner or CD Burner XP....both support DVD burning and are free.
 
I have the same problem. Nero will only work with the Sony DVD burner it came with. It doesn't recognize my new NEC DVD burner. Will upgrading Nero to 7.x fix the problem or do I need to uninstall the program and get some other generic flavor of it?
