Hi,
using WinXP pro, NeroBurnRom 5.5.6.4

after 100%(5 minutes) still don't popup the "finish" / "done" windows.
just stay there where two bars are empty(buffer/complete).

click on task manager, it says it is not responding...

i don't have this problem when using Win98.

it worked "OK" fine under WIN98

my cdrw is a slow one(don't even want to mention the speed) but i think a "not responding" note is not right

All things considered, it may well be a compatibility problem under XP. I know it worked fine under 98 but that don't mean squat with xp. Best bet is to upgrade, as was mentioned, to the newest version. No trouble, you are entitled with your version. After that, make sure to go into the "Recorder" and choose your CDRW if available. If not, you will know your trouble. However, I don't think you will find it there. Does your "older" drive (the one that you are reluctant to mention) have a "burn proof type" protection application? Are you using "known" good quality CDR media? Lots of variables here.

fortunately i don't have bad burns, even the incidence occurs.

Nero just sits there, i press the eject button on the cdrw, no happen, i reboot, then eject the tray, i get the cd(still warm)

put it in my car's cd player, works fine!! hey, don't know what happen it holds there.

There seems to be a bit more to this story than meets the eye. You said, "I press the eject button on the CDRW, no happen". Do you mean the CDRW Drive or are you saying it was a CDRW disk? That becomes critical if you are dealing with "INCD" by Nero. And again it would matter if you are saying, "put it in my car's CD player, works fine!" That wouldn't be a CDRW Disk, so it must be a CDR. Can you just clear these up a bit for my overly confused mind?

ok ok ok, i am making all those confuses...

i mean the drive. when i press the "eject" button on the drive, suppose it will eject, but not.
i reboot(without completing the burn process, suppose to have a "click ok" window saying it is completed), the cd works fine again

The IMAPI Burning serivce is XP's built in CD Burning feature.

Have you updated to the latest version of Nero yet?
