By default Nero (I'm using 5.5.5.2, but have tried the latest version with the same problem) puts a 2 second space between songs on an audio disc. You can change that space, but I've run into a problem. I tried setting the spaces to zero. When I went to burn, it popped up an error that after track 1 there must be 1-2 second pause. I could have sworn I used to be able to do this. Have I inadvertently changed something that is making this happen now? Any idea how to get around it?

There must be a 2-second gap before the first track. Make sure that you don't accidentally change that one. All other tracks can have a 0-second gap. :)

Highlight all tracks once added to the CD

Right click, go to Properties

Change the track gap to 0 seconds, hit OK

Go to burn, when a box pops up about first track must have 2-3 second gap, click on "Change settings and continue"
