I have installed the update on my Vista x64,was quite a long time installing but no problems to report.

Agree ... staying with 6.6 ... don't need the extra bloat of Nero 7
Also there were some issues with audio encoding starting with
Nero 7 that did not occur in Nero 6 .. not sure if they ever fixed it
or not

Well, I think Nero 7 is the only one that works on Vista.

That maybe .. but I am on Windows XP, with no plans to move onto Vista anytime soon.
And by then, most of the software that is designed for Vista should work properly.

6.6 was nice. However, I remember it had some issues burning DVDs? Or it didn't even allow me or something like that. I had to switch to 7.0 to do that.
