Nero 7 Ultra Installation SUX

🙁 I guess my "Black Fri" "Special" is NOT so "special". I tried installing on a P4 running XP Pro, partialy installs, then installation stops W/error msg: CANNOT READ from C:\Program files\nero\nero7\startsmart\startsmart.exe" It DOES write the "Startsmart.exe" file BUT if you try to execute it prog says it is CORRUPT! what a buggy POS!! Tried to install it on wifes AMD just to see........... SAME ERROR! guess its back to my old ver 6... or maybe I meed to see whay Roxio offers? any one else have this prob?

I must admit that I've not installed Nero 7 before, but I would guess that your installation media is bad.

I changed to Cheetah DVD CD Burner. I don't favor Nero anymore since 7, personally.

Cheetah works great.

I got the Nero 7 UE at BB for Black Friday and installed fine for me.

I am running the demo of Nero 7. No problems here. Did you download the latest version?
