I installed the demo and it seems like Nero 7 hooked into just about everything on my system. From installing with wannabe Daemon drive like thing to it's own media player that literally hooked just about every single file format known to mankind.

I know the core burning software is probably okay, but what about all the bloat?

You could've chosen not to install it. It's your fault.

I could have, however, Nero 6 was the staple of the CD burning world. Without installing and TRYING Nero 7 only to learn about all of the fun it provides I would never have known.

So thank you for your enlightening and educated comment. That's YOUR fault.

Yeah, custom install indeed.

Nero 7 is certainly bloatware. You will end up with the Nero Scout spyware crap regardless of installation customization too :|
Fortunately, there's a registry entry that removes it.

if it isn't broken, don't fix it
Blame ahead. That spyware money is eating at their finger tips....they can taste it. Stick with version 6.

I think he meant you shouldn't have installed everything that came with Nero 7.

Personally, I only picked like two things from Nero 7 custom install out of a dozen different things and it's running fine without being intrusive.
