Nero 6.0 vs 7.0

Hi All,
Well I backedup 30gig worth of digital pictures using Nero backitup from Nero 6.0.
The program spand the data over 7 DVD's.
New system built and installed Nero 7.0.
I tried to recover the pictures but when I put a dvd in the dvd drive I see nothing.
Did Nero 6.0 put some kind of code or templete on my last system for recovery?
Should I install NERO 6.0 again?

I am having almost the identical problem , I backed up software to a DL-DVD-RW with Nero , and I then updated to the newest version. Now when I put the DVD in the drive to get the info , nothing shows on the disk , but when I check the properties of the disk , it shows that 1.2 gigs is used on the DVD....I just can't see the files...
You would think that Nero would be backwards compatible with itself don't ya?
