Nero 5.0 or Clone CD....

It seems that every time I backup one of my games with Nero I have to go to gamecopyworld.com to get an .exe that will let the game load. Not to mention it takes Nero an eternity to get past the protection. I just got done backing up NHL 2K1 and it took over 2 hours with a Plextor 8/4/32. It's getting kind of annoying. I heard that Clone CD gets around the copy protection but will I still have to replace the .exe with one from gamecopyworld? Does it take as long to burn games with Clone CD? Oh, and if anyone can give me a link to a site where I could buy CloneCD that would be just greeeeeaaaaaaat. Thaaaaaaaannnnnnsssss. (My Bill Lumberg impression) 🙂
 
CloneCD takes about 30 minutes to do.
It just ignores copyright protection by copying them.

I just tried out the CloneCD demo. This program is awesome! Made a perfect backup of NHL 2K1. I already lost my copy of Nero. 😉(Well, for backing up games anyway)
 
It is very unusual that Nero takes that long to burn 1 CD... did you have those "Test before burn" options enabled? If so disable all of them, and just burn... it should make things much faster...
 
I use both nero and clonecd. You must have some something set wrong in your settings for it to take an hour.
 
All I have set on when I use Nero is Burn. But that's not even that big of an issue for me. What I really dont like about it is that any game that has protection on it needs to have its .exe replaced with one from gamecopyworld. If someone wouldn't mind posting the proper settings for Nero here that would be greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.
