Hello.

The topic of the message says it all.

I can start the Nero program without a problem. I can then drag my mp3 files over to the window that lists the files I'm going to burn. Finally, when I actually click the Burn button, Nero crashes with the error that MMC.DLL has caused an invalid page fault in <unknown>.

Can anyone help? Please?

Incompatiable DLLs, real pain in ass to fix.

* Try reinstalling Nero
* Try updating a you OS with a service pack
* Try Updating Office (if you have it)
* Try yelling at PC :)

Thanks for the response. :)

Well, I took a leap of faith and decided to try updating Nero to the newest version (5.5). I figured that even if there was nothing specifically in the new Nero that is supposed to fix any such problem with MMC.DLL, I figured that maybe the file got corrupt or something -- perhaps because another CD program had installed a different version of MMC.DLL.

After installing the new Nero, I successfully burned my CD. I'll have to test a little more extensively in order to see if the problem is completely fixed, but for my current purposes, it's good enough. :)

Thanks.
