Alright.
I was wandering through the store yesterday and happened upon some automotive neon kits. I was looking at them and they are priced at $9.99 for blue or purple. This got me thinking, they are 12v so I should be able to modify them slightly to run off my psu.
After reading some more on the box, it says to keep away from computer components due to possible interferrence. Do all neon/CCFL say this? Just neon kits? Or is it just this brand?
Is there anyway to block out the interferrence? (i.e. shielding of some sort)
I already know that CCFL are better due to the reduced heat they produce, but these neons would be going in a Celeron box, so there isn't much heat to deal with already.
The main reason I am asking is to avoid paying twice as much for a CCFL kit after shipping and having to wait a week for it to get here where I could pick these neon kits up immediately (only a 5 min. drive across town)
