you are correct...I am a regulatory auditor and part of my job is to audit sign manufacturers...actually the best way is to go with led lights...that the newest technology happening plus its cheaper and more cost effective. As for the light, I believe you may be able to get it fixed but buying another will be less costly.
Question....... I have a Doc Otis large neon bottle sign and it works but not correctly. When you pull the string/switch and hold it in the pulled position it works just fine but it won't stay on, it will just flicker. Is it a ballast problem? (I got it free and it's Mint other than the small problem)
