Neon bar sign broken

Had a party last night and some fvcktard screwed over the good 'ol corona neon bar light.. broke the neon tube in a little place and now I need to know if it can be fixed somehow or if I have to buy a new light. Thanks.

Theoretically, it can be fixed. However, it'll probably be cheaper to buy a new one. You'd have to pay a glass blower to fix it and fill it with the right gas, which is not so easy.

you are correct...I am a regulatory auditor and part of my job is to audit sign manufacturers...actually the best way is to go with led lights...that the newest technology happening plus its cheaper and more cost effective. Most sign mfg's are switching to this now.

I swear, the word LOSE (LOOSE) is one of the most mispelled words going around right now. That word and NO ONE (NOONE)

Noone saw me loose that wallet?

As for the light, I believe you may be able to get it fixed but buying another will be less costly.

Question....... I have a Doc Otis large neon bottle sign and it works but not correctly. When you pull the string/switch and hold it in the pulled position it works just fine but it won't stay on, it will just flicker. Is it a ballast problem? (I got it free and it's Mint other than the small problem)

You should FEDEX it to your cyber buddy jadinolf in California STAT.

I swear, the word LOSE (LOOSE)

I don't think I ever spelled it that way.

yea, I know it was a mispelling, but technically, it could be correct 😉

Technically? So Dictionary.com is wrong. 😛

If it's broken, the gas is gone and you need to have someone who builds/repairs neon signs to fix the glass and put new gas in it.

Now, that could get a bit expensive.

A cheap way to do it: Go to your local bar. Ask for a manager. Tell the manager to call their rep and have them exchange it, and give him $20 for his time.

You're kidding me right? It's not correct.

Examples:
Lose...................... You lose this argument! (South Park:YOU LOSE!!!)//// Did you Lose your mind? No, you already lost it!
Loose.................... Better watch out or I'll let my Pitbull loose on ya' ! //// Damn the noose was too loose and he got away//// Do you have any loose change I can borrow?

The right words are lose, and "no one"

Is not a word.
