This might be old news for some, but I just read about this on the MSI forums, and I just wanted to give a warning to anyone considering this board.
Apparently the new ATX 12V v2.0 no longer calls for a -5V rail. Yet the MSI Neo4 SLI boards that come with onboard SB Live audio, need the -5V rail to power the audio.
From MSI support:
>>Dear Customer,
The motherboard will post and work fine without the -5 volt rail, but the thing is, the onboard creative audio will not work, as the -5 volts powers the onboard creative audio, in device manager the onboard creative audio will show that it is working properly, but if your power supply does not have the -5 volts, the onboard creative audio will not work.
