Neo4-F USB Mouse Issue

After putting my new rig together I turned the power on to find out my PC would stick at the boot screen(Platinum! press DEL *smash repeatedly*). After trying different keyboards I ended up unplugging my mouse and it booted!. At first I thought the USB ports were screwed so I tested all my other USB devices and no other caused any issues. SO I was wondering if anyone else had such an issue and what they did or possibly even a new mouse suggestion that has a similar ergonomic feel as my mouse below(It's getting fairly old anyways):

You can just get a USB/PS2 adapter, cheap and will solve the problem if the mouse won't work on a USB port.
