Neo2 or Asus Deluxe? Are the bugs worked out?

Seems like every board user forum is full of posts about what doesn't work: memory not compatible, temps not reported correctly, Cool n Quiet doesn't work, reboot issues, etc.

It appears that we have to make a leap of faith when we pick a board and hope that we're getting the best that can be expected. Not to sound too pessimistic here, but that appears to be the reality, especially for a rather new technology (such as the boards for the 939).

So, help me decide between these two. Anand's review had the MSI edging out the Asus. The review didn't mention anything about MSI's temp reporting problem or Asus being picky about memory. All of that and more comes out in the forum pages where real users like you and I see what really goes on.

Which board do you have? Are you satisfied?

I'll be getting a 3800+. Give me your best sales pitch. I just don't know which way to go.

Thanks all. Fire away.

I liked the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum. That's why I bought one. Has two ethernet ports -- good for having a secure network. Also has good overclocking options. Unfortunately, mine most likely is broken, and I'm RMAing it right now. I'll only know for certain when I get a new one back and my computer works (hopefully).

I don't like how the 2 IDE ports and the motherboard power connector are all smashed parallel to each other, thus making it very difficult to plug them all in. Other than that, other people have been very satisfied with it -- though not me (yet).
