I currently have a neo2 plat with winchester 3200+ and ocz plat. rev2. Im at 250x10 running 1-1. Timmings are 2.5 5 5 11 i think. BF2 eats up all my ram. I have been reading that 4x512 would force the ram to 333MHz and 2T? But is there a 2x1024 set out there that i can still get the same OC with a 1:1 ratio. Basically i want 2GB ram and still a OC of 250MHz 1:1. Should i accomplish this with 4x512 ocz plat2 or something else? THanks!

Yes, crucial ballistix pc5000 1gb sticks are the only ones I found as I was in the same situation. Their going for $185 a gig at newegg. Price just droped from $265!!
Had a 3000+ winchester @ 263x9 with geil ultra DDR550. Upgraded to 2 gigs(4x512mb) for BF2 and it started running the 166:200 divider. That really sucked. I mean really memory can get real expensive. Honestly it didn't make that much of a difference though it's just the thought of it I guess. Found out it's the cpu fault so I ordered a 3700+ diego. They are supposed to run 4x512md dual sided ram 1:1 :)
I'm not sure but I think the venice core's will do it too so u might want to look into that too.

So maybe get a venice core and some more OCZ if you don't want to spend the cash on a san diego. Probably about the same cost or less than 2x1024mb crucial ballistix.
