"She looked hot," he said to Playboy.com. "She looked like maybe you were looking in her window one day and you saw her sitting on the floor picking out underwear." The rapper/photographer shot 10 rolls of film at the magazine's Santa Monica studio earlier this month.
The model, Nicole, said that Nelly was cordial. "He didn't walk in like some off-the-cuff rock star, like 'I'm the s**t,'" Nicole told Playboy.com. "It made it cool."
With the shoot, Nelly became the fifth celebrity photographer for Playboy and Playboy.com. Previous photographers were rapper DMX and rockers Tommy Lee, Bret Michaels and Marilyn Manson.
Whereas Nelly was an amateur, he said Nicole's professionalism made his job much easier. "I made a few suggestions but nothing that she obviously wasn't already doing. I left it up to her as far as whatever point in the shoot that she was ready to 'declothe,'" he said.
Although Playboy hasn't yet invited any of its pop star shutterbugs for a second engagemenbt, the St. Louis rapper said that he would love to return if Playboy would have him. "Any time, any place, let me know," he said. "And if you don't [ask me again], I'm gonna be mad. I might call your a**," he said to the magazine.
In related news, Nelly and SongPro, Inc. announced that the rapper would serve as the company's first official celebrity spokesperson. SongPro is a device that can convert the Nintendo Game Boy into a digital music player.
