I like Neil Gaiman.

I just read (or skimmed) her whole post.

Apparently she was the one who played the child bride of Muhammad.

I don't think she's even present in the trailer online.

If she's very young it helps explain this, but the casting call I saw did ask for someone 18 for that role... still, that's very young of course.

But yea... her entire letter about this is just soooo self-obsessed, whiny, and emotionally frail. So much apologizing to Muslims or the family of those killed... just nonstop "Oh I feel so terrible" yadda yadda.

The Koran is stupid, and it's stupidity should be highlighted. It's believers should be mocked ruthlessly and relentlessly, and then if they expose themselves as violent barbarians because of that mockery, they should be destroyed.

As long as the rest of the world bends over backwards and falls all over itself to try to avoid offending crazy Muslims, we will only succeed in registering in their minds as weak and tempting targets.

You should be feeling bad for a barbarian culture that thinks it's OK to murder people for what they say/write and feeling bad that spineless cowards want to knuckle under to terrorism.

Yeah? You think pity is the way to go?
