my reception is low or gone if I move. my max download speed was around 150kb/s. there is no download limit 😉

you can get him "upload speed capped" if you up stuff for a few hours consecutively. Don't be evil.

have been there and done it. i am a past ool user. they only cap you if you upload at the full speed for hours. I used to upload anywhere below 60kb/s for the WHOLE day and no problem.

Maybe you can ask him to turn the router a bit and see if your reception improves... Or if he forked out for one of those high gain antenna's???

I have a neighbor with a COMPLETELY open network. One day I typed in 192.168.0.1, put in admin, password, and sure enough, i'm into the router settings

haha.

Anyone that comes to my house might have a little fun if they are good. I have a MAC filter, and disabled SSID, but for some reason when I enable WPA, I can't use Remote Desktop anymore. ugh, I really need to figure that out!!!!
