Neighbor bullying me for wifi?

Just change the PW again and tell her the internet is down and the cable company is going to fix it eventually.

Everytime she comes by asking for the key, just tell her it's not fixed yet.
 
This inst a troll post i honestly believed there was some sort of program i could install that would limit my internet,yes i'm a moron.

Her daughter just started college and i actually let her use my own computer at one point but that was good enough they purchased a laptop.

Tell her to pay for her own damn internet. You're not a bloody charity. Who shares their WiFi with anybody in this day and age. I keep mine locked down like Fort Knox.

Tell her you don't feel comfortable with allowing anyone outside your house use your internet for security and liability reasons. Everything that happens on your internet connection is ultimately your responsibility, and you just can't take that risk.

So, why don't you answer the question I asked?
What router do you have?

You know, if the router has Captive Portal capabilities, you can make it so they can only access a few sites, like:
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=How+much+does+internet+access+cost? and
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Why+should+I+p...,+if+my+neighbor+is+giving+it+to+me+for+free?

Or, see if they are accessing bank/payment info, and just use the same login credentials to deduct your fee for them using your internet. 😉

P.S, you do know they have access to everything on your machine as well, if it is setup to be shared on the same subnet.

Can't you just make it so your router stops broadcasting the SSID, change the SSID so only you know it, and then if they ask about it just say you couldn't afford your internet anymore so you got rid of it?

Then I'm not sure why you posted this. You're getting answers to your dilemma, yet you keep coming up with BS excuses not to implement them. And I can assure you that if there was a program out there to slow your internet, beyond a DDOS attack, then A) it would impact you and B) she would be pounding on your door complaining about your internet speed, which you would, in turn, apologize for and remove the block.
 
Say to her, in a joking manner of course, that you'll let her use your Wi-Fi for free if you get to use her daughter, for free. If she says no, then ask her to sub instead.
