nehalem rumors... when is it supposed to arrive?

extreme chips ready for anyone with a huge christmas budget. the rest won't be widely available til sometime middle to late 2009.
personally, i'm not looking to upgrade from dual core until the oct-core chips with 16 threads are <$300 and as overclockable as the current quads.

that will probably be 2010-11 and sandy bridge by then. 🙁

sounds good enough for me. 2.5 years is fine with me as long as they get around the supposed overclocking lock on the cheaper intel CPUs.

excellent, via needs more time for its x86 CPU to become more robust... by the time nehalem is here 2.5 years from now we will probably be seeing VIA + nvidia vs AMD vs intel... each offering a locked non compatible platform of CPU + GPU.
