Nehalem Question

Did a search here and on google and didn't find anything to help me answer my question.

I'm planning on building a new system soon, as per my general hardware thread here, but I have a CPU specific question I was hoping I could get answered here.

What would be the advantages, if any, of waiting it out a couple months for Intel's new Nehalem's? I don't upgrade my CPU often, in fact the last time was about 6 years ago. I game quite a bit too, but mainly FPS.

Should I just buy a Core 2 Duo or a Quad now? Or would I see a much better bang for my buck in a couple of months? Had Intel not changed the socket I probably would have just bought one of each. Oh, I'm looking to spend somewhere between 200-250.

Thanks

Nehalem won;t be in the 200-250 range for quite some time. Also the platform won;t be cheap, or the memory. With your budget, just go now.
