If I were to buy a motherboard today, which one would accept the new chips from Intel.. if any..?

Would the x38 be the best choice..? are they moving from LGA 775 to a new socket..?

Sorry for noob or "too early to tell" questions. Thanks!

No point buying X38 IMO, P35 is still the best bang for buck.

Yeah, nehalem would need a new socket since it will have a memory controller and a Quickpath.
