I agree, KKKG was way overhyped. It was a good movie, yeah, but it didn't deserve designer mousepads and T-shirts...

Legal version of American Desi is not released on DVD yet.

Pirated versions on street though

Most Hindi DVDs now have English Subtitles. Previously, film distributors only released a fraction of Hindi films with subtitles on VHS, because the Hindi speaking viewers were annoyed by the subtitles, and couldn't turn them off. Since DVD allows the viewer to turn off subtitles, most now have them.

I like Indian films, and DVD has allowed me to enjoy far more of them.
