Negative wear level?

So I have a Gateway NV53A24U laptop (Athlon II, 4GB RAM, AMD 4250, 320GB) that I bought during the summer. I've had a few brain farts and left it on sleep mode on battery and the battery went dead, or I've used it till it worked. So in 6 months my battery wear level went to 12%. Well, the same thing happened today, and when I check HWmonitor my battery wear level is suddenly -1%. Design capacity is 47520, full charge capacity is 48211. How did it not only apparently go from somewhat worn, to better than new with one full discharge? That seems somewhat backward. Error, or what?
