Needs help starting $1200 build

I'm currently debating on a new build since I have gotten my college payed for and have an unused college loan that is begging for me to use it.
I am a gamer who wants to get into pc gaming a lot more. I want something that will be able to handle intense game such as BF3 and anything else coming out in the new two years.



I have decided to stick with the Phenon x6 CPU, but I would love some recommendation on what to build onto this.
I have the mindset to be running dual monitors (26") or one monitor & one 32" tv.


Any recommendations for motherboard, ram, or even just the case would be great. Not that this is needed to point out, but this is my first build.

Any reason you have decided on a Phenom x6? A 2500k is in the same ballpark price wise and will toast it in almost any situation, especially gaming.
