Hi,
I'm having a strange problem with the networking and internet connection on one of my computers on my network. I keep losing cable internet and network capabilities to this computer for some reason and when it happens, I need to reboot the computer in order for it to work again.
If I listen to mp3 files through the network that are on this computer, I suddenly get an error and can tell that I need to reboot the computer again.
It only happens on that one computer and not the other ones on the network. I've tried knocking everything out of my Network under Windows 98SE and let Windows rebuild everything and I'm still getting the problem.
All of this started happening after I switched back to cable internet after being on AOL for a week while ATT@home was down. I purged the system of the AOL crap and I thought that knocking and rebuilding everything in my network settings would do the trick, but it didn't.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be happening? Any ideas on how to fix this problem because it's starting to get a little old having to reboot to get back my network connection and internet.
Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated!
TIA,
Sal
