My ATI9800pro w/ XT bios suddenly decided it didn't want to wake from power saving mode....also decided it didn't want to show anything at boot.
Figure I'm SOL on warranty since it has the XT bios & doubtful I can reflash back to stock if the card's completely dead.
Anyway what's the best card to replace it? To narrow things down a bit I'll say that a replacement 9800xt seems to be running around $150 used on the forums here & I play things like HL2/CS:S, Serious Sam series, BF1942, Battlefront, UT2K4.
$150-ish & as fast or faster @ those games?
