Needing mid-range Vid card advice

Hey there.

My ATI9800pro w/ XT bios suddenly decided it didn't want to wake from power saving mode....also decided it didn't want to show anything at boot. 🙁

Figure I'm SOL on warranty since it has the XT bios & doubtful I can reflash back to stock if the card's completely dead.

Anyway what's the best card to replace it? To narrow things down a bit I'll say that a replacement 9800xt seems to be running around $150 used on the forums here & I play things like HL2/CS:S, Serious Sam series, BF1942, Battlefront, UT2K4.

$150-ish & as fast or faster @ those games?
