I posted a hot deal yesterday, about a router that I had a rebate form for that was more than they were offering now. Well, I screwed up and jumped the gun and ordered one before researching too much.
It was from PCMall.com, and after what everyone was saying about where the rebate was going (New Rochelle) and the review of the modem, I decided that I wanted to cancel the order. I called them last night, and the guy told me that they already shipped it out, on Saturday. I doubted that, but what can I say?? He told me that the best thing to do was refuse it when it came.
If I do this, will I have trouble either getting my money back, or getting charged for a restocking fee? The way I read their website, I only get charged a restocking fee if I remove the UPC code, but I am thinking they will make me pay the shipping because I refused it.
If anyone can enlighten me on this, I would appreciate it greatly.
Thanks,
Gump
