NeedHelp I bought a wireless router and I cannot log in setup

The person I bought the wireless route( Dlink DI614+ ) he didn't remember the user name or the password to log inthe setup. Is there a way I can reset the wireless router so I can log in just the user name admin or a way to bypass it ..thanks

power off the unit.

use a paperclip to press the reset button(pinhole)

while reset button is depressed, turn the unit on

watch lights until it blinks slowly.

release reset button

if it starts to blink rapidly you held the button too long

I did power off the unit and hold pinching the reset button and let it go for a couple of seconds after the unit is power on ..still i cannot use the default logging process...

try to keep the reset button pressed for 30 seconds. if that doesn't work call d-link and ask them how to reset to the default settings.

From the Dlink 614 manual.

Leave device powered on.
Press the reset button and hold for 10 seconds
Release the button.

The router will reboot.

In the manual is there a default login? For example on my Linksys Router even after a hard reset you still get prompted for the default login (in the case of Linksys - first field blank, "admin" in second field).
