Needed some help... building my first gaming PC

I was looking to build my first computer and was needed to know if this was a good build?
I was looking to play Flight Simulator X, Battlefield 2142 and Lord of the Rings Online down the road. If your wondering why I chose 2 7950GTs rather then a 8800GTX I was told it was a better setup, or would it be best to go with a 8800GTX(wasn't sure because Ive been hearing they been bugged with a lot of games)? If this isn't good could someone recommend me a good build?

2 7950GTs is not a better setup than 1 8800GTX, especially since the 8800 supports DX10 for Flight Sim X. Also, all that link asks for is to log in.

First off, I'd take either of these PSUs over the TT you had selected...(see edit)

The memory you selected is real expensive, it you want to pay that much go ahead, but I'd look at these also...

With the e6600 you selected, you won't need as high an FSB anyway like with an e6300 or something like that.

Also, if you're not going SLI, I wouldn't get a 680i board. I'd look at a BadAxe2

or get something high-end on the P965 chipset.

Plus, if you go SLI with the 8800GTX you could need an even bigger PSU (in addition to keeping the board you chose). However, different reviews say SLI with that card only really shows with using 30" monitor and up because its so powerful. So I'd only consider it if I were gaming at real high resolutions.

EDIT: I just realized that TT PSU was a Toughpower which is supposed to be a good one, therefore that seems fine.

Sorry it took so long to reply been busy, anyways would I need an aftermarket cooler? This is my first computer that I'm building from scratch so whatever I need please tell me if I'm leaving it out.

You'd really only need a better cooler if you o/c. Otherwise you should be fine. Anyway, that is a nice system build you have there and it should run fine for you. Only thing like I said is you could save almost up to $100 going with different memory, depending on your budget. That $335 stuff is expensive and if you're not going to o/c you don't need it. Even if you were to o/c the other stuff would be fine, it's all DDR2-800.
