I thought this one company was decent -- the prices were very nice at least, and the rating at Reseller Ratings was good. However, shipping by UPS Ground for a 16lb package came to $25, which is ridiculous to me -- I've only paid $10 for a heavier package.

Does anyone know of a good micro ATX case vendor? I am looking to spend the minimum possible since this isn't going to be case I will access after it's built, and it's not going to be high performance system either.

If anyone has any used ones, that's fine, too. I have just never looked for micro ATX cases before so I have no idea where to go. Thanks!

Enlight is a good one.

Onvia.com carries several brand name case vendors and usually has free shipping.

buy.com as well, if you time the Free shipping times with coupons you can get a NICE deal.

This one...

I've used this particular case several times. Very quiet, easy to work with, and pretty decent build quality.

Hmmm, found this one at Buy.com for $37: Enlight 7308. Looks pretty good to me when combined with a $10 coupon ($27 + shipping).

vi_edit: Thanks for the info -- I looked around there, but $50 is a little more than I wanted to spend. InWin's certainly are nice cases, though -- I used to have the A500 midtower and was very impressed with it.

Don't bother waiting for free shipping at Buy.com for this, most, if not all, cases are excluded from the free shipping deal, as are printers, systems, and various other large components.

Thanks for the reminder, Stark. I still have that $10 gift certificate there from waaaay back when they were taking site registrations before they opened. I have my doubts that they carry mATX though.

Red: I think I had that case for awhile (picture is a little blurry but that looks like the one) and sold it to my brother. I hated that thing. :D It's fine if you don't need to get in it though, and it was cheap. If I'm not mistaken though, I won't be able to fit a micro ATX in there, correct? Or I would at least have to purchase a mATX PSU separately.

There use to be someone on this board that sold cases. Jhanson I think his name was. I bought an addtronics 7896a from him for a low price and shipping was about 10-13 dollars...

All of you need to keep in mind when ordering on line shipping costs have gone up! The shippers have added sircharges to there rates because of the high price of fuel. Monitors and cases are always more costly to ship because of size and weight. If you are trying to save on shipping costs for these items, you may want to visit your local geek store and purchase direct. They normally buy in quantity and pass the savings to you.

Just my $.02 ;)

I have enough screws and couldn't care less about the I/O backplane, but have you dealt with this vendor? I'm always leery about these low price places.

OT: AndrewR, just curious, you're not using the newest bios on your Trinity, are you? Or just 1.00 to get to OC your comp.

yata: I'm running the chip in an MSI slotket -- works great. Not sure what BIOS I have, but I think it's from April or so.
