Hi all, i'm looking to take pictures of graphic cards from close-up (not very close) for my reviews. Would like your suggestion for an inexpensive camera with good image from close up(not very close) . Should be less than $100

ADDED : Rechargable battery preferred , AA batteries are a pain .

For your purposes just about any digital point/shoot camera from a respected manufacturer will do.

Here's a Sony DSC-S730 for only $99.99. It even runs on AA batteries so all you need to get are a cheap set of AA rechargables:

Edit: Here's a Canon A590IS for $140. It costs a bit more, but also offers a step up in performance and features (with image stabilization being one of the main selling points)

They both use AA batteries; they come with batteries, but those are 1 time use only. You'll have to spend $15 on a set of NiMH AAs and a charger.

Personally, I like having AAs in small, P&S cameras because you're free to change batteries at any time and you're not tied to the manufacturer's expensive proprietary replacement batteries. With a good set of NiMH AA rechargeables, you'll get 300-400 shots on a charge.

If you really don't like AAs there is the Panasonic FX33 for $150; it's got a great 28mm wide Leica Lens, optical IS, face detection, and a lot of other features. There's also the slightly cheaper Olympus FE-320 for $129.99 that also uses proprietary lithium ion batteries.
