In anticipation of upcoming games (FEAR, Q4) I'd like to take the plunge and get some surround sound speakers for my comp. I have the msi neo2 mobo with no separate sound card. Please advise as I'm apparently too lazy to do my own research.

Would like to keep the price under $150.

Note, I'd also get a sound card... chaintech AV710 for $25, audigy 2 value for $50, and audigy 2 zs for $70, but I've heard prices as low as 40.
